- Users in a Merchant role can use this feature.
Step 1: Log In as Merchant
Log in with your BuildPay credentials. Correctly entering your log in information will bring you to the Projects screen.
A manual transaction through the BuildPay system a can only be completed by a BuildPay Admin or a Merchant. Jamie Lannister of Lannister Lion LLC will be acting as our Merchant.
Step 2: Choose “Transactions” Tab
Once you’re on the Projects screen, click on the “Transactions” tab. From here you can see any BuildPay project-related transactions or enter a manual sale as long as all of your appropriate business information has been previously entered into the BuildPay system by a BuildPay Admin.
Step 3: Click the “Add Transaction” Button
Once you’re on the Transactions screen, choose the blue “Add Transaction” button to bring up the New Transaction screen. Here you can start inputting a manual sale. You will need the Work Provider’s BuildPay card number. All fields on this screen are required. When you have filled all the appropriate information in, click the “Create Transaction” button.

Step 4: Transaction Confirmation
After you’ve created a New Transaction, you’ll be brought to its detail screen. Here you can see all the information associated with that particular transaction, but most importantly it’s Transfer and Approval Statuses. Once a BuildPay Admin has helped you add a receipt and the Customer has approved the transaction, the sale amount will be released.
